Q.Planting on bank

Zone 62447 | LOWELL added on June 30, 2012 | Answered

We will be moving to our new home soon but I have one high bank on the back side of the ditch that I can’t mow. What could I plant once and be done with it? I want something that will spread rapidly and not grow too tall. Thank you.

Vinca minor, ivy and pachysandra are all popular choices for hillside plantings. They all stay green year round, spread quickly, grow low and need almost no care once established.
