Q.Planting next to a stream with eroding banks – sheep present

Zone Surrey | Angela Gurney added on May 20, 2018 | Answered

We have a stream running through our garden – with steep bank sides in places that are eroding. I wish to have some recommendations of plants with good root systems that can survive the occasional flooding. Sheep are also present grazing towards the top edge of the banks so the plants too would need to be ‘sheep friendly’!

Many thanks.
