Q.Planting Muscadime Vines Shipped In A Box
I received my 4 muscadime vines in a box all together in a bunch with their roots in a root ball. The root ball is wrapped and has tape on the outside. I was not planning on putting them in the ground until this latest cold snap has gone by. Should I leave them in the root ball until I plant or should I take them out and plant in a large pot until time to put in ground? If not, can I water the root ball?

They are best planted after the threat of frost has passed so you may have a month to go. In that case, you may want to plant them in separate containers and transplant them outside after all freezing weather is over. Here is more on their care:
