Q.Planting Lemons

Zone 94609 | Justin O Buchanan added on May 4, 2017 | Answered

I am curious if anyone knows if planting a whole lemon in the ground would/could successfully grow a lemon tree? I put a couple in the ground the other day and have no idea if they will take or not.
Usually, I would deseed a lemon and germinate it first, but I wanted to see if this works.
I heard that it works quite well, but I’m not sure if I trust the source. Any experience with this would be appreciated. Thank you!
