Q.planting fruit trees

Zone Elko, MN | Anonymous added on May 25, 2020 | Answered

I have one apple tree and 3 cherry trees. I just bought one new apple and one new cherry tree. Should I plant them near the others? And how far apart should each of them be from any other tree? I use bees to pollinate the cherry trees, but the new apple tree has a label on it, saying I need another apple tree to pollinate. Does it matter what kind of apple tree? I know the new one is not the same kind as my older apple tree.
