Q.Planting Dahlias

Zone cm11 1lq | Anonymous added on April 27, 2021 | Answered

In the autumn we put about 20 dahlia plants away for the winter. Dusted them with sulphur and stored in a dark dry place. I have now retrieved them and to me they look a sorry sight – quite dried up and lifeless! However I have potted them on with just the stem sticking out. My question is should I water them and when should I hope to see some signs of life?

If you are past your last frost, put them outside and water them. They should start growing quickly.
