Q.Planting Daffodils

Anonymous added on March 29, 2014 | Answered

I want to plant some daffodils on my girlfriend’s mother’s grave in Lithuania. We are going over in June. Could we plant some bulbs then, and would that be possible?

I'm not certain of the weather there so I would only be guessing, but I think as long as the growing conditions are suitable (similar to U.S. growing zones 4-9), they should do just fine. This article should help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/bulbs/daffodil/daffodil-planting-care-tips-how-to-plant-daffodils-in-your-garden.htm (Keep in mind the planting times. Here in the U.S., planting occurs in Sept/Oct, but this may be different over there. Either way, it should be done in fall.) Also, check with the cemetery before planting. This article may help as well: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/special/spaces/plants-for-graves.htm
