Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHello, I am planting a row of new 24” high Cypress Lemon trees and after digging the hole I have come across clay. I dug the holes yesterday and today after a rain fall, all the holes have water in the bottom. Will this be good the the trees, keeping in mind the summers here are very warm and no rain from June to September. Thank you very much.

Lemon cypress needs well-draining soil. Plus, you will need to water them during the summer. Here is more on their care:
