Q.Planting cucumbers
Every year I plant cucumbers and get very few because the plant leaves always get eaten and dry out-what can I do to stop the insects from eating the leave

There are many things you can do to help out here. I have a method for insect control that I use that will also help control fungus, and other infections. This will also balance the pH of the soil, and provide calcium and magnesium, which these plants tend to use very quickly. The recipe is as follows: First, you will want to prime the soil with dolomitic lime, then spread wettable sulfur to Kill off any infection in the soil. I Also like to spray the plant itself. Mix a few drops of one or more of these ingredients into warm water with a spoonful of coconut oil: Rosemary oil, lavender oil, neem oil, garlic oil, cinnamon extract/oil and for really bad cases, also add clove oil.
