Q.planting corn and watermelons

When is it too late to plant corn and watermelons in south GA?

In a warmer climate such as yours, you can get by with late planting as you have a longer growing season. That said, you would have to water more since planting this late in the season, or even July, will mean summer's brutal heat on young, tender plantings.
