Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHello,
i want to spray my mixtures of green grass/weeds in my lawn with Round-up and then ovreseed with Bermuda Grass. I was traveling – my irrigation pump broke and all good grass died.
The existing, dead grass/weeds will act a mulch and then few weeds. I will spray in with strong water volume and rake in seed and then water again. What of this idea?
i live in Central Florida – can i plant Bermuda Grass this time of year?
Greg

Greg, I recommend that you complete your herbicide application to kill the weeds, give it a couple of weeks or a month, then consider seeding with a winter rye grass. Seed your bermuda in the spring when it will get off to a better start than it would at this time of year.
