Q.Planting around apple trees

Zone 03755 | Julie.Alane added on December 23, 2015 | Answered

I planted several apple trees in my yard last year and I would like to replace the grass around/under them with something else. Any ideas? I live in Zone 4-5 and would like a ground cover that would be tough near the road.

Sweet Woodruff would be an excellent ground cover and companion plant for under Apple Trees in Zones 4 - 5.
