Q.Planting a tree near a house

Anonymous added on June 16, 2015 | Answered

I planted two months ago a peach tree 4 feet from the house to block the view from a window. I am planning to keep it small (6 feet max.). Do the roots cause damage to foundation from the house? Should I move the tree to another place farther from the house?

Generally, it is best to keep any tree near the house planted at least 10 feet away to prevent any possible damage.
