planting a fruit tree

I’ve grown pomegranate trees in pots and they are (I believe) ready to plant in my yard. I live in zone 9 (texas) and it is still hot. When can I replant these trees (2) and any helpful advice to guarantee the survival will be greatly appreciated.

You will want to wait until the weather cools down in the fall to transplant your pomegranates. Make sure your soil is slightly alkaline with a pH ranging up to 7.5. I'm including links for three articles that will help you with this project. The articles cover transplanting practices, fertilization for pomegranates and how to get your trees through the winter. I hope these help.
