planting

Hello, this is my first attempt at planting. The plants I got are still in the plastic covering that they came in when I bought them. I water them and I give them sunlight too. They wilt and then they die.. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong…

If the “plastic covering” that you’re referring to is the plastic wrapper around the soil and root system of the plant, it’s usually okay to leave those on until you plant them in a container or in the ground. Depending on which plants you got (it sounds like they are still very young? If so, these are called “seedlings”), they may be getting sunlight that’s too direct and too hot, or you may be overwatering (or not watering enough).
