Planting

Question

Hello.

I need to know what to plant in a corner of our garden which is in shade for the majority of the day. However, from spring to summer the corner gets strong direct sunlight from late afternoon and so shade loving plants tend not to work in this spot. It is also under a few large trees so generally has poor soil as these tend to get all he nutrients from the ground

Any help would be great
