zoysia grass planted in fall

Question

Planted Geo zoysia first of October. When can I use weed control? Spray or granular? Can I put down pre-emergent for crabgrass? Sod is still dormant to this point.

Proper mowing, irrigation and fertilizing will reduce weed problems.

For best results from your new sod and a fertilizer have a soil test performed on your lawn and fertilize accordingly.

For weed problems follow all directions for any herbicide, improper use could damage or kill your Geo. Geo Zoysia is tolerant of most herbicides.
