Q.Plant Selection

Zone zone 4 | amyssstuff added on November 19, 2015 | Answered

I have a challenge. I have a difficult spot to fill and I need plant suggestions that meet very specific requirements.

* small perennial plants or bulbs
* zone 4 winter tolerance
* heat tolerant
* drought tolerant
* able to be cut to the ground in winter
* summer blooming
* come in both pink and purple varieties
* idiot proof/easy to grow

It’s been challenging trying to identify plants that will meet all of these requirements.

Thank you!
Amy

Bolax glebaria
Clematis scottii
Daphne
Edraianthus
Phlox divaricata
Phlox subulata
Saponaria or commonly called Soapwort
