You can take out the soil and sterilize it. This article will help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/soil-fertilizers/sterilizing-soil.htm [1] As for the pots, clean them out thoroughly using a bit of bleach. You can refill them with soil once they are sanitized and dry and the soil has been sterilized.
