Plant Identification

When originally purchased, this plant was labeled "Lobelia cardinalis," but it is not blooming like a cardinalis. Could you please identify it for me? Thank you.

this looks like it's in the family of the "Cone Flower" which we know very well "Purple Cone flower" the one you sent the picture of is "Hot Summer" this flower comes back every year..it is hard to kill this one...it can be hardy to zone 4 and is easy to care for...just water it...the picture you sent shows a plant needing water...hence the wilted ones...it is good to deadhead this flower....b
