Q.Plant Identification

Zone 37618 | Anonymous added on November 24, 2021 | Answered

Hello! Our elderly uncle recently moved across the country and one of his plants died. I would like to replace it as a surprise for Christmas and was wondering if you could help with the ID. I think it might be a begonia. I have attached a photo. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and hope everyone there has a good holiday! -Beth

It is a begonia. Here are descriptions based on leaf shape. This one could be a Rex begonia. There are so many varieties though, we aren't able to pick the exact one. You may need to visit a local nursery and ask them about a possible variety.
