Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI’m trying to identify an early spring blooming flower (?) growing in my yard. It has a dark green grass-like appearance with a small, purple, narrow cup-like flower. There might have been a light yellow or white inside part. Flower disappeared quickly. I don’t think it was a crocus, least not like any with which I’m familiar. Couldn’t find when searching ground covers, bulbs (it does have white, roundish bubs)or perennials in basic nursery catalogues (e.g. Springhill or Michigan Bulb). Any ideas?

From the description, I would say Crocus.
