Plain Brown Spots on Tomato Seedlings – How to Treat?

My tomato seedlings have brown spots on them. The brown spots eventually shrivel the leaf and the leaf dies. Some of the spots start as yellow and then the leaf shrivels and dies. It doesn’t look like a fungus. What could be causing this and how do I treat it?

Your description is a classic sign of a fungus disease. Many fungus start out with yellow spots that turn brown in the center. It could be a bacteria or virus as well, as these sometimes also look like this as well. If it is a fungus, it is treatable with fungicide. If it is bacteria or virus, the seedlings are a lost cause.
