Pink Dogwood Buds

Have what looks like buds or seed pods on a 10 ft. pink dogwood. Have never seen these before. Located in Mi near Ohio. Is this normal?

Yes, they are seed pods. You don’t have to do anything with them, but if you want to try planting the seeds, you can.
