Pineapple-sage, cutting down or no

Do you cut down the pineapple-sage bush in the fall? Can you transplant it? When is the best time?

Pineapple Sage will tolerate winter temperatures down to about 20 degrees.
If you live in an area that does not freeze the plant will likely bloom all winter and may even bloom all year long.
You can cut the plant down as needed. Dead head spent blossoms to encourage more blooms.
If you live in an area that drops below 20 degrees your plant will not winter over and is considered an annual.
