Pineapple Plant Flower

How can I grow a Pineapple Plant Flower? The stem is about 12 inches tall and the “pineapple
flower” has gotten big and heavy and fell over. Can I cut the stem and plant in soil and how far down should the stem be planted?

The flower of the pineapple will not usually grow roots. The only thing that has a chance would be the leafy top. Cut this, and propagate it as you would the top of any pineapple. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/special/children/planting-pineapple-tops.htm [1]
