Pineapple leaf color

Does anyone know why my leafs are doing this my plant is 3 yrs Olaf and it’s starting it first flower but the leaves look funny and this just started when we brought in for the winter!!!

Any help is appreciated.

This can be common when moving a plant indoors. Water will not evaporate near as fast indoors, so you will have to make sure to only water after the top 2 inches or so of soil is almost completely dry.

It is worth noting that the flower will not form into fruit and finish under normal indoor light. You will have to provide 100 or 200 watts, at least, of horticultural lighting for it to grow properly. Also, if you desire a full sized fruit, you will need a very large container. 8 gallons should yield close to a standard size fruit.

To address the issue at hand… The next time that you water, just replace one fourth of that water with peroxide. Only do this once, and only after the soil has dried a bit.
