Q.Pine tree

Zone Denver, Colorado | bernadette2169 added on July 30, 2015 | Answered

We recently moved. Our neighbor’s pine tree is very, very, tall and hangs over our yard. The grass is dead in that area. Is there anything at all we can grow in the bare spot?

Here are a few links for you.
Shady ground cover plants may do better then trying to keep grass growing.
I plant Sweet Woodruff, Hosta, and Snow On The Mountain under mine.

Visit a local garden center and see if any shady combinations appeal to you.
