Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI’ve had two of these shrubs in containers, they get pot bound and start dying off. I’ve had this one for approx 6 years and I want another but I don’t know what it is. Can you help please?

It is, indeed, a Spruce. Pinning down the cultivar will be quite difficult, however. Your best replacements will be one of three species: Picea pungens, Picea orientalis and Picea mariana.
All three are suitable for container growth.
