Q.Pincushion Protea Is Not Growing Correctly And Not Blooming

Our pincushion protea looks “odd” and seems to be struggling (picture attached). No blooms at all.

After reading it needs acidic soil, that could be the issue. I suggest repotting in acidic soil or at least amend the soil it has. You can add peat or sphagnum peat moss to the existing soil to lower it. It prefers a pH between 5 and 6. It also may not be getting enough water. They are only moderately drought tolerant once established. Make sure you are not fertilizing. This plant will suffer if it gets too much. Here is more:
