Pilea Cadierei with Brown Leaves?

Hi there,

I’ve had my Pilea plant indoors on a coffee-table near a sunny window for three months now, in a self-watering pot that I water(ed) twice a week and spritzed daily.

About two months ago, my Pilea developed these browned leaf ends and got a bit droopy. I fear he may have been burned by the sun one day. As a result, it doesn’t seem like he’s grown at all since I bought him.

I’ve tried all kinds of measures since then to seemingly no avail (eg. testing different sites in the room, watering less, fertiliser).

Do you happen to have any advice?

This appears to be a fungus and is likely due to overwatering. It looks like every leaf is effected and you may want to toss this plant and start over.

Keep soil evenly moist and misting is not required.
