Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI just purchased several pygmy date palms, and didn’t realize they grow so big. Can I plant them in containers to keep them smaller? I’d like them to grow no more than 4-5 ft and not too bushy.

Yes, they can do very well in containers. They have a smaller root ball so they can stay in the same container for years.
