Q.Picking Hydrangeas

Anonymous added on July 14, 2012 | Answered

I have an Annabelle (broadleaf) hydrangea and an oakleaf hydrangea. I get large white blooms on the Annabelle and smaller blue blooms on the oakleaf. Can I pick these blooms for floral arrangements?

Yes. Picking these will not affect the health or vigor of your plant, provided you leave some, of course. These flowers make wonderful bouquet arrangements.
