Q.Phoenix canariensis size for fast growth
Hi, i want to buy a Phoenix canariensis, the palms have grown in pots outdoor in my town.
I read that a smaller palm recover transplant shock faster and can grow faster than a large. Is this true? Should i buy a small palm or the largest i can afford?
I want after years it to become as big as possible, what size is the best choice?
Thanks.
Canary Island Palm Trees grow slowly.
Choosing the size to buy is dependent on cost and your landscape plans.
The larger the specimen the bigger challenge in the transplanting.
Make sure you purchase from a reputable garden center and the Palm is properly staked.
