Q.Phlox Won’t Blossom

Anonymous added on September 2, 2011 | Answered

I have had 4 Phlox plants for several years and they rarely bloom. I have tried moving them but it has not made a difference. They also get a fungus every summer that I have tried treating with antifungal sprays. I see many beautiful Phlox blossoming as I drive and would love for mine to do they same. I live in Zone 4. Please help.

You may be lacking phosphorus. If there is a lack of phosphorus in the soil, plants will have little to no blooms. You can either use a phosphorus rich fertilizer or add some bone meal to the soil.
