philodendron

good morning,
I have a philodendron (just four leaves) that is in water with lots of roots, ready for soil I guess. Twoof the leaves have what look like yellow “polka dots”, otherwise look healthy. Haven’t been able to find what that is on any websites. Just curious if you know anything about this.
Thank you,
Elaine

It would be hard to say for sure without a picture, but it sounds like it might be a fungus of some kind. It should clear up once the plant is in soil, but if you are worried, you can treat the plant with a fungicide.
