Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a Philodendron plant growing in my office. It was doing quite nicely for the longest time and then it started to send up shoots that failed to open into a leaf. What is the problem? I have included a photo of the plant where you can see the shoot that just seems to have a small hook at the end of the shoot and it will not open.

I’m not able to see how far away from the pot this plant vine is growing. It may be that it is lacking a bit of nutrients.
The leaves I see look quite healthy and maybe just a little pruning can rejuvenate the plant.
Here is a link to refresh you of the care.
