Q.Phalaenopsis Orchids
Good morning,
I have never managed to keep an orchid alive despite many attempts ! I recently received the most beautiful phalaenopsis orchids (6 various colours) and wanted to know the following ?
1. Should I put them in a decorative pot or leave them exposed ?
2. Does the ice cube method of waterting work ? I normally soak them in luke warm water and then drain them but I have very little space and have to move them to do this – I was told not to move them ?
3. Can I leave them in one place and water them there (with ice cubes ?). I also spray them with an orchid feed one a week.
Thank you for any recommendations – I really don’t want to kill off these beauties – they are all in flower and magnificent.
With many thanks,
Fiona
