phalaenopsis orchid

I have a plant that grew a stem that now has a plant at the end of the stem. How and where and what do I do to save the baby? There is also a plant coming from the base of the plant. All are extremely healthy.

If you Phalaenopsis Orchid sprouts leaves at the end of it’s spike, this is plant growing a new ‘baby’!
They are called ‘keikis’ which is actually the Hawaiian word for baby.

This actually is quite common. Keikis grow quickly and began to sprout more leaves and then aerial roots. When at least 2 to 3 roots are 3 to 4 ” long, it can be cut from the mother plant and planted in it’s own pot.
