Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comThe family dog cuts its paws on thistle weeds in the large backyard, leading to complicated infections. There are too many to dig out. I need a safe thistle weed killer, without chemicals. I made a vinegar, salt, soap solution but this only kills the tops, not the roots. Can you help? Also, rabbits are becoming uncontrollable as well and their debrisĀ is causing theĀ dog to be sick.

The only non-chemical way to get rid of thistle is to kill the leaves as soon as you see them. The roots will eventually die due to lack of sun.
