Q.Pests – Ants?

Anonymous added on February 21, 2014 | Answered

I have little tiny bugs (what I think are ants) at the bottom of my houseplants. They come out when I water the plants and they are so small that you feel them crawling on your skin before you see them. They are always down at the bottom of the flower pot. Are these ants that I am experiencing? What do I do to get rid of them? I need an effective treatment before my husband throws me and the plants outside!

There are several things they could be, from mites to aphids to other small pests. You can get rid of them by treating your soil with a pesticide or by replacing the soil in the pot.
