Pesticide for Gardens That Are Not Toxic

Would like to learn of pesticides that are not toxic to humans. I hate using so much poison on our gardens to just get a few vegetables.

We like neem oil. It is non-toxic to humans and animals, including beneficial insects. However, this organic pesticide has been found to be quite effective in eliminating numerous insect pests.
