What is hapenning to my persimmon tree?

With limited information and only leaf photos, we can't do much more than guess.
From the photos it appears to be a recently grafted tree. It may be that the grafts are not taking and are in decline.
Also noted, it appears to be located under a larger tree, which could be extremely competitive for sunlight and root system dominance for uptake of water and nutrients.
If you show and describe more about the site, growing conditions, soil and water management we may be able to be more specific in diagnosis.
