perennial hibiscus plants

I’ve just purchased 6 perennial hibiscus plants from a nursery. They’re cut down to the stalk. I was thinking of planting them outside but wondered if they would grow indoors during the winter (state of Va). I have large pots for indoor gardening in a large well-lighted (natural) room. Will they grow in winter indoors? Flower? Or should I just plant outdoors? Thanks!

I would just plant outdoors. It is very, very difficult to get hibiscus enough light indoors, even with grow lights. Plus, they perform better outdoors if they get their dormant time in the winter.
