Q.Perennial hibiscus – outdoors
Something is cutting the buds off the plant and I can’t find any type of insect other than ants or white aphids. It looks like something cut the flower off with a scissors. Can you advise?

It is likely thrips or even cutworms. These articles will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/insects/controlling-thrips.htm
