Q.peppers all breeds

I have several breeds of peppers. They are developing spots that appear to be rotting. Blackish purple and yellow. What can I do to prevent these from continuing?

If the spot in on the top of the fruit, then it is likely sunscald and is from too much direct sunlight. A simple shade will help stop it. If it is on the bottom of the fruit, then it is blossom end rot. These articles will help:
