Pepper Plant Not Having Peppers…Flowers Fell Off and No New Ones

Question

I have pepper plant in a pot that I have had each year with wonderful results. But this year there were two peppers on it early on and now the few flowers have fallen off and none have grown. The plant looked healthy except now the leaves have white spots in various places. We water every day and did fertilize with a fertilizer that said it was for vegetables and only do monthly. Previous years I just used Miracle Gro and everything was fine. Help.
