Pepper Leaves Turned Yellow And Brown. What Happened? Can They Be Saved?

I usually over winter my hot peppers inside. The plant started to leaf with dark green leaves but all of a sudden the leaves turned yellow and brown.

Did you take your plant from inside to outside without acclimating it to the brighter light? If so, that could cause a decline from which it may not recover. Or did you have an unexpected cool night?
