Q.Pecanless Tree?
I have a 24 yr. old Pecan Tree that has never had the first pecan on it. We planted a new one on either side of it, but still no pecans! What’s wrong… is it something I didn’t do? It’s dark outside and I can’t get a photo. Confused, Becky in Texas

If this is a pecan grown from seed, then it is just now coming into flowering age! Some pecans will take even longer to see the first flower.
If this is a grafted specimen that you have planted from an established tree, then it could be, either, the luck of the draw, or poor soil nutrition.
