Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a Conference pear tree which flowered earlier in the year and is now bearing some fruit. However, the tree is now flowering profusely, again. Is this normal? If not, where am I going wrong? I should add that I live near Valencia in Spain and we have had a very dry summer.

Yes, flowering twice a year is normal and a great benefit of some pear varieties! It will probably produce extra fruit which you can enjoy.
